Metro L3-061 1.0L VIN 6 TBI (1998)
3. Install the new fluid pan gasket (1), the transaxle fluid pan (2), and the transaxle fluid pan guard (3) to the transaxle. Verify that both of the
cross-recess bolts are in their correct positions. Secure the fluid pan components with 15 bolts.

Tighten the transaxle fluid pan bolts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
IMPORTANT: The fluid pan contains 15 bolts in all. Two of them have cross-recesses in their heads. Apply GM P/N 12346004, or the
equivalent, to the threaded portion of these two bolts and, install them in their proper positions. Do NOT apply the sealant to the remaining 13
bolts.
4. Install the transaxle pan drain Plug into the fluid pan.

Tighten the transaxle drain plug to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove the drain pan from under the transaxle fluid pan.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Refill the transaxle, as necessary.
