Gearshift Control Shaft and Extension Rod Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the gearshift control shaft rear through bolt and nut (3) from the gearshift control lever.
3. Remove the gearshift control joint through bolt and nut (6) at the transaxle gearshift shaft (5) and gearshift control shaft (3) with the gearshift
control shaft joint from the vehicle.
4. Remove the gearshift control shaft front through bolt and nut (4) from the gearshift control shaft joint.
5. Separate the gearshift control shaft joint from the gearshift control shaft (3).
6. Remove the four gearshift control lever guide plate bolts (2) from the control lever guide plate (4).
7. Remove the extension rod from the gearshift control lever guide plate (4).
