Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the hydraulic modulator assembly to the bracket mounting nuts (5).

Tighten the mounting nuts of the hydraulic modulator bracket to 5.4 Nm (48 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the brake pipes (2) to the hydraulic modulator (3).

Tighten the tube nuts to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
4. Connect the electrical connector of the Brake Motor Pack.
5. Connect the 2 electrical connectors (1) of the brake solenoid valve.
6. Bleed the system. Refer to Brake Bleeding.
7. Perform A Diagnostic System Check - ABS. See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnostic System Check
Brake Modulator Bracket Replacement
Removal Procedure
Caution: To help avoid personal injury, due to a retained load on the brake modulator, the Gear Tension Relief function of the scan tool must be
performed prior to removal of the ABS brake modulator assembly.
1. Remove the hydraulic modulator assembly. Refer to Brake Modulator Assembly Replacement.
2. Remove the bracket mounting bolts (4).
3. Remove the bracket from the subframe.
