Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor
The Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor(6) is mounted on top the Modular Fuel Sender Assembly(S). The PCM uses the fuel tank pressure input for the EVAP
System. The PCM supplies a 5 volt reference to the sensor and a sensor return (ground). The PCM monitors the signal circuit from the sensor with a
voltage range from 0.1 volts to 4.9 volts. When the pressure inside the fuel tank is totally vented the pressure is equal to atmospheric pressure or
approximately 1.3-1.7 volts. When the tank is pressurized the voltage can reach more than 4.5 volts. For further information regarding the Fuel Tank
