Band Apply Servo: Service and Repair
Reverse Servo Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Powertrain Management.
2. Remove the automatic transmission range selector cable lever from the manual shaft. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Cable
Lever Replacement.
3. Depress the reverse servo cover (40).
4. Remove the snap ring (39).
5. Pull the O-ring seal (41) out through the slot in the case.
6. Use side cutting pliers in order to cut the servo cover O-ring seal (41).
7. Depress the reverse servo cover (40), grasp one end of the cut seal (41) and pull the seal (41) out of the servo cover (40).
