2. Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Impala) or Console Replacement - Front Floor (Monte Carlo) in
Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
3. Install the electrical connector to the A/T shift lock control.
4. Connect negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging.
