Monte Carlo V6-3.8L SC VIN 1 (2004)
2. Install the rear bumper fascia push-in retainers.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the rear bumper fascia outer retainer bolts.
Tighten the rear bumper fascia outer retainer bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
4. Install the rear bumper fascia outer retainer nut.
Tighten the rear bumper fascia outer retainer nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
5. Install the rear bumper fascia splash shield.
6. Pull back the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.
7. Install the license plate lamp.
8. Install the back up lamps.
