Monte Carlo V6-3.8L SC VIN 1 (2004)
1. Align the hood hinge to the fender.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the hood hinge to fender bolts.
Tighten the hood hinge to fender bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
3. Install the hood.
4. Install the hood assist rod.
5. Install the hood rear side seal.
6. Adjust the hood, as required. Refer to Hood Adjustment.
