Accessory Delay Module: Description and Operation
Voltage is applied through FUSE 1 at all times to the cigar lighter through circuit 1240. The cigar lighter has a heating clement that, when pushed in,
completes the circuit to ground through circuit 150, and begins to heat up. When the element is sufficiently heated, the cigar lighter opens the circuit.
Voltage is applied through FUSE 41 at all times to the auxiliary power drop connector through circuit 440. Voltage is also applied through FUSE 38 to
the auxiliary power drop connector through circuit 43 when the ignition is set to ACCY or RUN. The power drop connector can be used for a more
permanent connection of an accessory. Ground will also be applied to the auxiliary power drop connector through circuit 150.
