8. Pivot the caliper body up in order to access the pads. Do not remove the caliper body.
9. Remove the outboard (4) and inboard (3) brake pads from the caliper support (6).
10. Remove the two pad clips (2) from the caliper support.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Bottom the piston (3) into the caliper bore. Use a spanner-type tool in the piston slot (1) in order to thread the piston in to the caliper.
2. Lift the inner edge of the boot next the piston and press out any trapped air. The boot must lay flat.
3. Verify that the slots in the end of the piston are positioned as shown above before pivoting the caliper down over the brake pads in the caliper
support. Use a suitable spanner-type tool in piston slots to turn the piston as necessary.
