Brake Rotor Replacement (Rear)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove two thirds of the brake fluid from the master cylinder.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
3. Remove the tire and wheel.
4. Remove the caliper mounting bracket.
5. Remove the brake rotor.
6. Clean the metal contact surfaces between the brake rotor and the hub bearing flange.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the brake rotor.
2. Install the caliper mounting bracket.
3. Install the tire and the wheel.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Apply approximately 778 Nm (175 ft lbs) of force to the brake pedal (after bleeding, if necessary) three times in order to seat the brake pads
against the rotor.
