5. Inspect the bracket for cracks. Replace the bracket if necessary.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Apply a few drops of GM Loctite (or equivalent) to the threads of the mounting bolts before installation.
1. Lubricate the new bushings (1) with silicone grease.
2. Install the bushings (2) into the anchor bracket (1).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the caliper mounting bracket (1) with the mounting bolts (2) using the J 36721.

Tighten the caliper bracket mounting bolts to 200 Nm (148 ft. lbs.).
