8. Remove the caliper slide pin bolts (1).
9. Remove the caliper housing (2) from the rotor and the caliper mounting bracket (3).
10. Inspect the following parts for cuts, tears, or deterioration. Replace any damaged parts:

The pin boots.
^
The piston boot.
^
The rubber bushing in the caliper mounting bracket.
11. Inspect the slide pin bolts for corrosion or damage. If corrosion is found, use new parts, including bushings, when installing the caliper. Do not
attempt to polish away corrosion.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Verify that the calipers are positioned correctly. Each caliper is marked with an L (1) for Left or an R for Right. Position the bleeder
valve on top.
1. Position the calipers over the rotor and caliper mounting bracket.
