Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (Front)
Removal Procedure
Important:
The front sensor is serviceable only as an assembly. DO NOT attempt to service the sensor harness pigtail as it is part of the sensor.
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Disconnect the front electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolt retaining the sensor pigtail wire.
4. Remove the 2 bolts retaining sensor to the steering knuckle.
5. Remove the sensor.
Installation Procedure
Important:
Make sure the sensor guide pins are properly aligned and sensor is seated.
1. Install the front wheel speed sensor.
Note:
Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the sensor retaining bolts.
Tighten to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
3. Reconnect the electrical connector to front wheel speed sensor.
