Monte Carlo V6-3.8L VIN K (1998)
1. Install the right engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.
2. Install the right engine mount strut bracket nuts and bolt.

Tighten the right engine mount strut bracket nuts and bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the right engine mount strut to the right engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Right).
4. Install the ground wiring harness connection.
5. Install the generator support brace. Refer to Generator Brace Replacement (3800 L36 (VIN K) Front Brace) in Starting and Charging.
6. Install the ignition coil. Refer to Powertrain Management.
7. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect in Starting and Charging.
