Monte Carlo V6-3.8L VIN K (1998)
2. Install the exhaust muffler inlet pipe clamp to the original exhaust muffler. Do not tighten the clamp nut.
3. Install the catalytic converter bolts.
4. Install the insulators to the exhaust pipe.

Tighten the exhaust muffler inlet pipe clamp nut to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the catalytic converter bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Lower the vehicle.
