Radiator Hose: Service and Repair
Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Tools Required 
-

J38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
2. Remove the right side electric cooling fan.

Refer to Electric Cooling Fan Replacement.

3. Disconnect the outlet hose from (3) the water pump housing (1) using the J38185.
4. Disconnect the outlet hose (3) from the radiator (2) using the J38185.
5. Remove the outlet hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 

1. Install the outlet! hose in position and align the marks on the hose.

2. Connect the outlet hose (3) to the radiator (2) using the J38185.
3. Connect the outlet hose (3) to the water pump housing (1) using the J38185.
4. Install the right side electric cooling fan. Refer to Electric Cooling Fan Replacement.
5. Refill the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.

IMPORTANT:  To properly fill the system you must use the air bleed vents. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
