Rear Center Seat Belt Replacement
Removal Procedure
Description
Tools Required
J 29843-9 Door Lock Striker and Seat Belt Torx(R) Wrench
1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion in Seat and Carpet.
2. Use the J 29843-9 in order to remove the center and inboard buckle belt bolt (2).
3. Remove the center and inboard buckle belts (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Description
1. Install the center and inboard buckle belts (1) to the vehicle.
Important: Verify that the seat belt anchors are installed with the proper orientation.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Important: Verity that the buckle is properly routed through the rear seat cushion.
2. Use the J 29843-9 in order to install the center and inboard buckle belt bolt (2).
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
