Figure 4 shows the proper way to rotate the switch prior to installation, to insure that the wires are routed correctly.

Verify that the wires are routed as shown in Figure 2. Reassemble the upper steering column components. Reinstall the lower left trim panel.
Enable the SIR system. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
