Lower Strut Spring Compressor Adapter

Ensure shock absorber is positioned on J 34013-A strut spring compressor with the knuckle mounting holes facing outward.
1.
Lower insulator, coil spring, upper insulator, spring seat, and dust seal.

Ensure the spring seat is installed with the "OUT" stamping facing outward.
*
Compress the coil spring using a J 34013-A strut spring compressor.
2.
Suspension support.
3.
Strut rod piston nut.
Tighten
*
Strut rod piston nut to 47 N-m (34 ft.lbs.)
4.
Strut rod piston nut cover.
*
Release compressed coil spring using a J 34013-A strut spring compressor.
