Seat Belt Retractor: Service and Repair
Right - Front

Removal Procedure

Caution:  Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Caution:  Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Cautions and Notices. 

2. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR. See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming
3. Reposition the front seat belt lower anchor bolt trim cover to the side.
4. Remove the front seat belt (1) lower anchor bolt.
5. Remove the front side door sill trim plate. 

6. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar in Interior Trim.

7. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide adjuster (1) trim cover and the bolt.
