With an appropriate instrument, lift corner of certification label and peel from door edge.

4.

Clean area where label will be installed with soapy water and wipe dry.

5.

Remove protective backing from new label and carefully apply to vehicle in the same location as the original label.

NOTICE:

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE OR LOOSEN THE NEW LABEL ONCE IT HAS BEEN APPLIED AS THIS WILL
DAMAGE THE LABEL AND MAKE IT ILLEGIBLE.

6.

Install Campaign Identification Label.

CAMPAIGN IDENTIFICATION LABEL

Each vehicle corrected in accordance with the instructions outlined in this Product Campaign Bulletin will require a "Campaign Identification Label."
Each label provides a space to include the five (5) digit dealer code of the dealer performing the campaign service. This information may be inserted
with a typewriter or a ball point pen.
Each "Campaign Identification Label" is to be located on the radiator core support in an area which will be visible when the vehicle is brought in for
periodic servicing by the owner.

Apply "Campaign Identification Label" only on a clean dry surface.

Dear Chevrolet Owner:

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

REASON FOR THIS RECALL

General Motors has determined that certain 1988 Chevrolet K10 series trucks produced at Oshawa Truck Assembly with incorrect tire information
printed on the certification label. The trucks were assembled with the correct size tires, but the tire size data on the certification labels is incorrect. The
incorrect tire information fails to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FKVSS) 120, "Tire Selection and Rims for
Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars."

WHAT WE WILL DO

Since a new certification label can be easily installed and to reduce your inconvenience, we are enclosing a label with installation instructions. The label
may be installed by you on the driver's door of your vehicle. However, if you desire, your Chevrolet dealer will install the label for you at no charge.
