Oil Pan: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Raise and support vehicle. Drain oil pan and remove starter.
3.
Remove flywheel splash shield or converter under pan, as applicable.
4.
Remove front engine mount through bolts, raise front of engine and reinstall bolts, then lower engine.
5.
Remove oil pan bolts and oil pan.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Tighten oil pan-to-engine block attaching bolts to specification.
