Engine Mount: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove upper fan shroud.
3.
Raise and support vehicle.
4.
Remove engine mount through bolt. On left mount, remove mount-to-engine upper bracket attaching nuts.
5.
Raise front of engine and remove mount-to-engine attaching bolts, then the mount. Raise engine only enough to provide sufficient clearance to
remove mount. Check for interference between rear of engine and cowl panel which could cause damage to the distributor or EGR.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque mount-to-engine attaching bolts to 29-39 ft. lbs. and mount-to-frame bolt to 35-47 ft. lbs.
