Blower Motor: Service and Repair
Without A/C
Blower Motor Case Assembly
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Coolant recovery reservoir.
3. Electrical connectors, as necessary.
4. Cooling tube.
5. Screws (87).
6. Blower motor and fan assembly (53).
Inspect
-
Blower motor terminals for corrosion. Clean corrosion from the terminals or replace the blower motor as necessary.

Flange of the blower motor for damage or distortion that could cause an air leak. Repair as necessary.

Blower fan for damage and distortion. Repair or replace as necessary.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Blower motor and fan assembly (53).
2. Screws (87).
3. Cooling tube.
4. Electrical connectors, as necessary.
5. Coolant recovery reservoir.
6. Negative battery cable.
