Water Pump: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove lower cover.
3.
Drain cooling system.
4.
On models less A/C, remove engine fan.
5.
On models with A/C, proceed as follows:
a. Remove air pump and alternator mounting bolts and the fan and air pump drive belt.
b. Remove engine fan and pulley assembly.
c. Remove fan set plate and fan pulley.
6.
On all models, remove water pump attaching bolts and the water pump.
7.
Reverse procedure to install.
