Dome Lamp: Service and Repair

Utility (Separate Unit)

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Dome lamp from the roof.

Hold the lamp assembly firmly with both hands and slide the lamp towards the left or right side of the vehicle to release it.

3. Electrical connector.
4. Dome lamp lens and trim bezel from the lamp base.
5. Bulb from the lamp base.

Install or Connect

1. Bulb to the lamp base.
2. Dome lamp lens and trim bezel to the lamp base.
3. Electrical connector.
4. Dome lamp to the roof.

Align the pins with the holes in the roof and push the lamp up to install.

5. Negative battery cable.

Utility (Overhead Console)

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Dome lamp lens from the overhead console.

Use a flat-bladed tool to carefully remove the lens.

3. Bulb from the overhead console.

Install or Connect

1. Bulb to the overhead console.
2. Dome lamp lens to the overhead console.
3. Negative battery cable.
