Case Adapter: Service and Repair
New Venture Gear 233 Transfer Case
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Transfer case.
2. Bolts and washers securing the adapter and seal to the transmission.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Bolts and washers securing the adapter and seal to the transmission.

Ensure the gasket tab faces as shown.

Tighten adapter to transmission mount bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
2. Transfer case.
