Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1.

Remove transmission.

2.

Remove clutch assembly and flywheel.

3.

Remove rear main bearing oil seal using a suitable screwdriver.

4.

Apply clean engine oil to lipped portion and fitting face of new seal.

5.

Install new seal using tool J-29818.

6.

Install flywheel and clutch assembly.

7.

Install transmission.
