Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
Front Suspension
STABILIZER SHAFT REPLACEMENT
Remove or Disconnect

Raise the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
1. Nut (50) from the link bolt (62).
Important: Make sure to remove parts from the right and left side of the vehicle and keep them separated.
2. Retainer (51).
3. Grommet (52).
4. Link bolt (62).
A. Grommet (54).
B. Retainer (55).
C. Spacer (56).
D. Retainer (57).
E. Grommet (58).
F. Grommet (60).
G. Retainer (61).
5. Bolts (63).
6. Bracket (64).
7. Stabilizer shaft (53).
8. Rubber bushing (65).
Inspect: All parts for wear and damage.
Install or Connect
1. Rubber bushings (65) to the stabilizer shaft (53).
^ Make sure the bushings (65) are placed on the stabilizer shaft (53) with slits facing toward the front of the vehicle.
2. Stabilizer shaft (53).
3. Brackets (64) over the bushings (65) and stabilizer shaft (53).
