Note: Insert a drift or large screwdriver through brake caliper into rotor vanes to prevent from turning (fig. 45).

Note: Support the caliper with a piece of wire to prevent damage to the brake hose.

9. Hub and bearing assembly (114) from axle joint splined shaft using J 28733-A (fig. 46).

Note: Lay the hub and bearing assembly on the hub bolt (outboard) side. This will prevent damage or contamination of the bearing seal (fig. 47).
