Differential Carrier Bushing

1.

Remove tube and shaft assembly as described under TUBE & SHAFT ASSEMBLY.

2.

Remove differential carrier as described under DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER.

Remove bushing using bushing remover and installer set, tool No. J 33791, Fig. 3.

4.

Install bushing using tool No. J 33791, Fig. 4. Ensure tool No. J 33791-3 is positioned properly between bushing and carrier ear to prevent
bushing from being pressed in too far.

Overhaul

DISASSEMBLY

1.

Remove carrier from vehicle and output shaft from carrier.
