This bulletin revises the Synchro-Mesh transmission oil GM part numbers called out on page 7B-12 of the manual transmission section of the 1996 S/T
Service Manual. The replaced part number is the transmission oil equivalent Texaco part number. Also added a new transmission oil with 5% friction
modifier (GM part number 12377916) to page 7B-12 to enhance support of the NV1500 manual transmission.
