Air Injection Control Valve: Description and Operation
The air switching valve admits air from the air pump into the exhaust ports while coolant temperature is below a specific level or for a set period
of time after the accelerator reaches Wide Open Throttle (WOT).
The air switching valve is actuated by the ECM through the vacuum switching solenoid valve.
