Wiring Harness Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the transmission fluid filter and auxiliary fluid pump filter. Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter and Auxiliary Fluid Pump Filter
Replacement (See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) .
2. Disconnect the transmission 24 Way connector.
3. Disconnect the transmission 16 Way connector.
4. Remove the transmission electrical connector passage sleeve. Refer to Automatic Transmission Electrical Connector Passage Sleeve Replacement
(See: Automatic Transmission Electrical Connector Passage Sleeve Replacement) .
5. Remove the control wiring harness from the wire harness retainer (2).
6. Remove the control wiring harness connector (1) from the wire harness retainer.
7. Disconnect the control wiring harness from the solenoid valve body (3).
8. Disconnect the manual shift shaft position switch connector.
9. Disconnect the output shaft speed sensor connector.
