Silverado 1500 2WD V8-6.2L (2010)
Note: DO NOT raise and/or support the engine by the crankshaft balancer, or the oil pan.
6. Place an adjustable (screw type) jack to the tab (1) located on the engine block.
7. Remove the left side exhaust manifold heatshield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side (V6) (See: Exhaust

Side (V8) (See: Exhaust System/Heat Shield/Service and Repair/Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side).
8. Remove the engine mount to engine bolts (1).
9. Using the adjustable jack, raise the engine slightly until there is enough clearance to remove the engine mount.
