Bracket Replacement (15 HD, 25, 35 Series)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the differential carrier assembly. 
3. Remove the air conditioning compressor-4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engines. 

4. Remove the nuts and the washers from the bracket.
5. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the bracket to the vehicle.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.

Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 Nm (67 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the air conditioning compressor-4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engines. 
4. Install the differential carrier assembly. 
5. Lower the vehicle.
