Silverado 2500 4WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
7. Remove the brake shoes. Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement (See: Drum Brake System/Brake Shoe/Service and Repair).
8. Using the J 37043 (1), remove the park brake cable from the backing plate.
9. Remove the park brake cable assembly from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the park brake cable assembly into the backing plate.
2. Install the brake shoes. Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement (See: Drum Brake System/Brake Shoe/Service and Repair).
3. Install the park brake cable to the cable guides.
