3. Remove the rear axle drain plug (1).
4. Drain the lubricant into a suitable container.
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
1. Install the rear axle drain plug (1) and tighten to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).
2. Fill the rear axle with the proper fluid. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities (See: Specifications) and Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations
