PCV Valve Hose: Service and Repair
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake
Manifold/Service and Repair/Intake Manifold Cover Replacement).
Note: After removing the charged air cooler duct, cover the turbocharger opening with tape in order to prevent entry of objects.
2. Loosen the charged air cooler inlet duct connector to turbocharger clamp (1).
Note: Do not use a screwdriver or other tool to pry the hose loose. The hose can be torn or damaged. Loosen the hose by twisting.
3. Remove the charged air cooler inlet duct connector (4) from the turbocharger.
4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Air Cleaner
Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose/Service and Repair/Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement).
