Silverado 2500 4WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
1. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (V6) (See: )Generator Replacement (V8) (See: )Generator Replacement (6.6L) (See: ).
2. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L) (See: Steering and
Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power Steering Pump/Service and Repair)Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.3L) (See: Steering and
Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power Steering Pump/Service and Repair)Power Steering Pump Replacement (6.6L) (See: Steering and
Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power Steering Pump/Service and Repair).
3. Remove the engine wiring harness clip bolt (3) are reposition the clip (1) away from the generator bracket.
4. Remove the generator bracket bolts.
5. Remove the generator bracket.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the generator bracket to the engine.
