Silverado 2500 4WD V8-8.1L VIN G (2006)
Tighten
Tighten the retaining bolts and nuts to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
16. Install the harness hold down retainers to the I/P assembly.
17. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the ambient light sensor on the underside of the trim panel.
18. Install the trim panel to the I/P assembly.
19. Install the trim panel retaining screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
20. Install the windshield pillar garnish moldings.
21. Install the left side I/P junction block.
22. Install the upper intermediate steering shaft to lower shaft retaining bolt. Refer to Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement in Steering

23. Install the I/P assist handle. Refer to Instrument Panel Assist Handle Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauge., and Console.
