Silverado Classic SS V8-6.0L (2007)
Tighten the bolts to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
9. Notice:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the drain plug (7) and drain plug seal (6).
Tighten the drain plug to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Notice:
Use only clean and approved transmission fluid.
Refill the transmission with DEXRON(r)VI Automatic Transmission Fluid. Refer to Fluid Capacity Specifications.
12. Important:
Remember fluid remains in the external circuits and transmission cavities after draining the transmission.
Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check.
