Voltage Regulator: Testing and Inspection
1.
Connect voltmeter and ammeter to charging circuit.
2.
Turn ignition switch to On position and ensure charge lamp lights.
3.
Start engine and ensure charge lamp goes out.
4.
Start engine and run at 2000 RPM.
5.
Ensure proper battery voltage is indicated when output current is approximately 10 amps.
