Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair

FRONT

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove wiper arm locknuts and the wiper arms.

3.

Remove cowl cover, then the wiper motor cover.

4.

Disconnect electrical connector from wiper motor.

5.

Separate wiper drive arm from wiper link.

6.

Disconnect wiper link from wiper motor arm.

7.

Remove wiper motor attaching bolt, then the wiper and link, Fig. 6.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.

REAR

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove trim pad assembly.

3.

Remove wiper arm assembly.

4.

Remove wiper motor fasteners, then disconnect electrical connector and remove motor, Fig. 7.

5.

Reverse procedure to install.
