SHIFT LINKAGE, ADJUST
1.
Loosen gear shift control housing nuts and guide plate bolts.
2.
Adjust guide plate by moving it forwards or backwards until shift lever is positioned in middle of guide plate and at a right angle, Fig. 2.
3.
When guide plate is positioned properly, tighten guide plate bolts and housing nuts.
