Latch Release Handle Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Lower the endgate.
3. Remove the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid  (See: Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid) .
4. Remove the lock cylinder latch plate cover. Refer to Lock Cylinder Latch Plate Cover Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid  (See:

Tailgate/Tailgate Lock Cylinder/Service and Repair/Lock Cylinder Latch Plate Cover Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid) .

5. Remove the latch release handle (1) from the lock cylinder latch plate assembly.

6. Disconnect the rear compartment lid latch release handle from the vehicle.
