Fuel Injector Installation
INSTALLATION
1.
Using a twisting motion, install new injector filter on injector.
2.
Lubricate replacement small O-ring with automatic transmission fluid, then push O-ring onto nozzle end of injector until seated against injector
fuel filter.
3.
Install meter body back-up washer in top counterbore of fuel meter body injector cavity, Fig. 340.
4.
Lubricate replacement large O-ring with automatic transmission fluid, then install over meter body back-up washer in injector cavity. Ensure large
O-ring is seated properly in cavity and is flush with top of fuel meter body casting surface.
