Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove air cleaner assembly and heat stove pipe.
3.
Disconnect AIR hose from check valve.
4.
Remove spark plugs, then disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold.
5.
Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts and spark plug heat shields, if equipped.
6.
Remove exhaust manifold.
7.
Reverse procedure to install, using a new gasket.
