Removal Procedure
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement32 in Computer and Controls - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L or Air Cleaner
Assembly Replacement in Computer and Controls - 8.1 L.
3. Remove the surge tank overflow hose from the surge tank.
4. Disconnect the low coolant level switch electrical connector (3).
